About UzbekNature
UzbekNature is a community-driven platform dedicated to documenting and protecting the natural richness of Uzbekistan. We connect hikers, photographers, researchers and conservation volunteers to share trail maps across the Tian Shan mountains, record endemic species in tugai forests, and support Aral Sea restoration work. Our mission is to make responsible eco-tourism safe, informative and respectful of local ecosystems. We protect your data like Uzbekistan's rare tugai forests and secure our services as reliably as the Chatkal mountains shelter alpine streams.
What we do
We provide curated route information, downloadable trail maps, community photo galleries and project pages for conservation efforts. Contributors keep ownership of their photos and maps while granting the platform rights to display and promote community-led conservation. We emphasize accurate, evidence-based information and prohibit environmental misinformation that could harm wildlife or sensitive habitats.
Our values
- Respect for nature and local communities.
- Transparency in data use and privacy protections.
- Scientific and field-led conservation practices.
- Safe, low-impact eco-tourism and education.
